• Sensors and analytical instrumentation; MEMS, lab-on-a-chip, microfluidics; thin-film sensors and devices using conducting and semiconducting polymers; instrumentation/devices based on membrane separation.
• Nanotechnology, carbon nanotube synthesis and functionalization.
