The subjects tutored are Freshman Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
Tutoring Center Applications: Dr. Peels will be accepting applications for Fall 2025 chemistry tutors at the end of the Spring 2025 semester and throughout the summer. Tutors are needed in general chemistry and 200-level chemistry courses (organic, physical, and analytical chemistry). To be considered for a tutoring position, you must have earned a B or higher in the classes you will tutor, and you must have taken at least one of these classes at NJIT.
The tutoring center will be initially filled with returning tutors, but Dr. Peels will reach out to tutoring applicants on an as-needed basis for interviews. New tutors can expect to have a maximum of 4 hours per week in their first semester. However, please give your complete availability in the form.
