CES does not allow courses to be taken at another institution during the spring and fall semester; if you meet the requirements you may take a course during the winter and/or summer semesters. If you choose to take a course at ECC and we are offering the course at NJIT, you will be charged full price.
Also, note that if you have taken a CES course and received a grade of D, F, W, NAD, or AC, and wish to replace that grade, you cannot take the course at an outside college--you must retake that course here at NJIT.
IMPORTANT TRANSFER CREDIT NOTICE:
Courses taken outside of NJIT must be in-person / face-to-face. Courses may NOT be online, distance learning, or hybrid.
Courses taken at other colleges must be at least six weeks in duration.
Student must have a signed Approval for Undergraduate Courses at Other Colleges form.
If students do not have a signed approval form prior to taking a course at another college, the course will not transfer under any circumstances.
Before you can transfer credits from another college or university to NJIT, you must have those credits evaluated first.
