Requirements for Minor in Environmental Science and Policy

Students are required to take fifteen(15) course credits from the Environmental Science and Policy and related courses listed below.

Three core courses required
Environmental Chemistry I or II (Chem 360 or Chem 361)* (3 credits)
Environmental Biology (EvSc 375) (3 credits)
Society, Technology and Environmental (EPS202) (3 credits)
Six credits from the following courses
Environmental Analysis (EvSc 484) (2 credits)
Probability and Statistics (Math 225) (1 credit)
Environmental Toxicology (EvSc 416) (3 credits)
Environmental Geology (R460:206) (3 credits)
Environmental Geology lab (R460:207) (1 credit)
Environmental Chemistry I or II (Chem 360 or Chem 361) (3 credits)
Ecology (R:120:380) (3 credits)
Environmental Economics (SS362) (3 credits)
The first Environmental Chemistry Course counts against the core.
The second can be used as an option course.
Students sometimes take Chem 361 prior to Chem 360 as a result of course timing.
